Gigabyte UD3P/R Owners

The gigabyte site specs the memory slots at 1.8v for the ud3p and ud3r and it has me confused because it also lists many modules under its "supported" list that require far more voltage. Does the ud3x have voltage selections in the BIOS or is it solely limited to 1.8v?

also, does the xigmatek s1283 fit on the ud3r?

Yes you can change the Memory Voltage in bios.
I believe they start at 1.8v and go all the way up to 2.2v-2.4v

thanks a lot. I was trying to decide between the p5q pro and the ud3r. I think I'll go for the ud3r then. Seems like it has slightly better cooling.

The xigmatek 1283s as well as an Enzotech Ultra-x both fit the UD3P, so no reason it shouldn't fit the R as well.
