Gigabyte p965 s3 with e4300?

I recently bought the s3 with a e4300 and a 7600gtoc and some patriots 4-4-4-12 1gig ram.
I putted everything together and booted it up. The fans and heatsink and everything turns on, but the screen is just staying black. i switched out the memory but it didnt do anything. I turned it on without any ram and it didnt make any noise. The light in front of the case is red.
Is it because my s3 is f6? Since the gb website said e4300 works with f7. I'm about to rma my board but i want to make sure its because its doa and not because of the bios.
 
Well, if it only works with F7 BIOS I'd say flash it to F7. However, I don't know if you can flash the BIOS with the E4300 in there. Man that sucks.
 
Just try and use any other 775 chip to update Bios.

Also have you tried another video card/power supply to make sure it is the Bios being to old for the chip?
