Gigabyte P965-S3 NB heatsink under-sized

I think the pasive heatsink on the 965 chip is under-sized. I ran MEMTEST for couple of hours and Windows refused to start and attempt to reinstall failed due to lock up. The heatsink was hot to touch. The Intel boards for 945GC and 965G have heatsink that are at least twice the size.

Does anyone experience hot NB heatsink also? Any comments on Thermalright HR-5 (not SLI version) or Antazone AS-N2000?

Any idea of what temp the NB was at while under stress? Mine gets up to 51C while working out. No problems with Vista.

I don't have a probe to measure the temperature at the heatsink. I thought about getting one of those temperature gun for this andother uses.

Well I placed a temperature probe between the heatsinks of the NB and CPU. The temperature read 101F (40 C). This is next to the 965 heatsink mind you.
