Gigabyte P67 UD3 - how to set hard drive to IDE?

I have a Gigabyte P67 UD3 and apparently need to set my hard drive to IDE in order to install my new Samsung 2TB HDD's new firmware update.

But...I don't see where/how in the BIOS I'm supposed to do this? There don't seem to be any menus where the two choices are AHCI or IDE. Anybody know?

The option is called PCH SATA Control Mode, which is located in the Integrated Peripherals menu.
