Gigabyte P55A-UD3P and SATA3 ports

I have the latest BIOS on a Gigabyte P55A-UD3P. I have the GSATA ports enabled and set to AHCI.

I'm trying to connect a Crucial M4 128GB drive to one of the SATA3 ports but nothing will detect the drive except for the BIOS. Upon bootup, the BIOS will detect the drive but outside of that, nothing will.

The drive works fine when plugged into one of the SATA2 ports.

I used Clonezilla to clone my previous SSDs contents to the M4 while it was plugged into a SATA2 port so I know the drive works.

It wouldn't show up in Clonezilla either when plugged into SATA3. I'm pointing this out since Clonezilla boots off a CD and it never boots into Windows.

Any ideas? And yes, I'm familiar with the P55A SATA3/USB3 limitation.
