I just bought the P35C-DS3R (mine says rev 1.1) and am trying to install vista 64 ultimate into the intel matrix raid0 partition.

here's my steps:
1. enabled raid on the intel controller in the BIOS
2. created a RAID0 and RAID5 partition in the raid setup
3. downloaded the latest 64 bit raid floppy install files from intel.com
4. ran vista64 setup and used "Load Driver" procedure

It looks like it read the drivers ok from my usb, but setup is still saying

"This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer BIOS menu."

of course, i've double checked that the controller is enabled, the boot order is set to the RAID0 partition first and the intel raid setup screen says that partiion is bootable.

when i select the Raid0 partition to install vista, it says

"Windows is unabled to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation"

Can anyone help? This is pretty frustating.

I've tried bios F2 and F4g.

Thanks.
