Gigabyte P35-DS3R Issues

Hello Fellow DS3R Owners,

I've had this board since July, I believe, and it's been great. No stability problems or anything. However, I do have a couple of quirks that I'm hoping others can shed some light on. System specs are in my signature.

1) When I power on my system in the morning, I get a constant buzz from the speaker. This can last as little as a couple of seconds and as long as it takes to go thru the POST screens and almost boot into Windows. Lately, it's the latter, as it buzzes constantly for about a minute. I could just unplug the speaker wire and kill the noise, but what's causing it to do this in the first place?

2) When I shutdown my computer at night, it's taking as long as 10 minutes to actually power off. Vista will have shut down completely long before and I hear the hard drives power down, but the system stays on for a significant amount of time past that. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
Trevor

My speaker buzzes for two or three seconds. I think that this started after I flashed mb to F6 BIOS. I am not sure, but I think so.

I do not have problem with powering off.
