I am ready to upgrade my computer. All the parts are here. My current Asus board has the nVidia nForce4 SLI chipset. I would download the platform drivers from nvidia.com. I am wondering where I would get the platform drivers for my new Gigabyte P35-DS3R. Is there a special way to get the Intel drivers?
I never like to use the drivers provided by the board manufacturer on CD. I did that the first time around with my Asus board and it ran like garbage. After I tried the drivers from the nvidia site it ran like a champ.
My upgrade is fairly simple. The Gigabyte P35-DS3R, e4300, and 2 gigs Ballistix PC2-6400 cl4. I will upgrade some other components along the way... video card, 2 more gigs ram, sound card, SATA DVD burner, etc.
