Gigabyte P35-DS3L - 2x1GB = 2T ram?

i thought the command rate would be 1t if i only had in 2 sticks? maybe i missed it in the bios, anybody know where it is hiding on this m/b?

There's no such thing as a real 1T on Intel chipsets, regardless of how many dimms.

Newer ones have 1N, but that's not nearly as good as 1T.

nForce chipsets can do 1T sometimes, but it may or may not work, depending on RAM, voltage, etc.

I use 1T on my "Fileserver" s939 Opteron 165 with 2x1 GB Mushkin HP2-3200 2-3-2...

i still am running 2 3000 venices and ran for a while a opty144, 3800 x2 and a 4200 x2....so i guess that old skool thinking needs to be gone :)
