I have a Gigabyte G31-M-ES2L rev. 2.3 motherboard and the BIOS is from 08/09/2010, this is my first motherboard from them and I am very pleased with it. I have been using the Easy saver utilities from Windows 7 and have it set to maximum power saving, but I have also this setting in Windows 7 power settings as well. When using both at the same time, I receive a random blue screen with mostly a hardware unrecoverable error. I haven't used the Gigabyte program for about 4-5 days and the blue screens stopped, I want to know if to use Gigabyte's program I will have to set the power settings from Windows 7 to normal to avoid blue screens. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium and my PC specs are on my signature.
