Anyone who has used EasyTune III, Please post your experence, good or bad. I can get great prices on Gigabyte stuff, but should I get one? Stable overclock is my goal, not the bleading edge. Please help me build my new box. ;)

i wouldn't get it for overclocking. i had a ga-7zx-1 and it was a good board. no problems, but it's not for overclocking. the only thing you can overclock with easytuneIII is the fsb and the kt133 boards are not too friendly to a high fsb. also, it's not in 1mhz increments (unless they have a new version). also, there are no voltage adjustments. at the time when i was using the gigabyte mobo i had a t-bird 800. it would run perfect at 840mhz (8x105). the next level was 856mhz (8x107), it was pretty stable with good cooling. the next level was 880mhz (8x110), it would run 90% stable with a floor fan blowing on the open case. that was my experience....

Built a machine yesterday with a GA-7ZX board. Installed EasyTune III. Now when I boot I get these two popup boxes: Scan bios info fail. & Sorry!! We didn't support this mainboard. You have to click thru these twice during bootup. And I can't find an uninstall anywhere. Otherwise, great board, easy build, no problems. This is a cheap game machine for a friends kid. Got it in a barebones kit at Fry's with a Duron 800 for $360. Includes a great Enlight case with AMD ok 300W. Nic adapter, AMR riser modem, built in sound, floppy.
