Hi guys how are you?

First of all sorry if i'm posting at weong place and sorry dor my poor english, i'm from Brazil

So let's see if someone can help me

I have a Gigabyte GAZ77XD3H mobo and i had a stable overclock at 4.5 with my 3770k

Yesterday i made a bios update to the latest one the F17f (A beta bios) but i forgot to save or note my OC specs at bios and i forgot some steps

I can't remember if i used about 1.23 or 1.30 fixed vcore to stabilize at 4.5 i remember that i used the loadline calibration on Turbo, the CPU Pll at 1.5 ( Now i bumped to 1.65 just to be safe, should i go back to 1.5?) i disabled the c1 c3 and all this stuffs and disabled the tubo boost

So do you guys recommend me to do anything else in this OC? Should i make some other changes or that's all? I think the vcore i used was 1.23 but i can't really remember and i really don't wanna spend again a lot of time with stress tests, last time i spent about 19 hours prime and 20 passes Ibt max memory size

Any help will be nice, and just to you know guys i'm using a H100i push/pull cooling system

Thanks

Try to go with an offset overclock if you can. I keep all of my power saving options enabled and didn't mess with PLL voltages. I think for an avg overclock you are not going to see much of a difference messing with PLL. If you are only using 1.23 for an 4.5Ghz oc, you can always bump it up and see what you can get out of 1.3v (If you want more?). Your H100i should be able to handle 1.3v without an issue, of course all chips vary.

So should i use PLL on Auto? I tried now 1.225 PLL 1.65 vcore llc turbo and got a blue screen after 5 passes IBT max

Should i bump the vcore a little and set PLL auto?

I din't know how to play with offset, that's why i'm using fixed vcore...

Thanks

I would keep it on Auto. Try it again with PLL on auto. If it blue screens then bump the voltage up a little.

Here is a decent guide to offset overclocking

I`m doing everything correct but when running IBT the monitor goes black and i loose the video and after a couple of seconds the video comes back and i receive a message that the video driver has crashed cane back working with sucess

This not happens playing games or running some video benchs like heaven or 3dmark....

Any ideia?

I know that it`s very relative but just to know, what`s the most commom vcore average that the 3770k chip needs to stable at 4.5?

I am not 100% sure - If I had to guess around 1.25-1.3v -

Thanks

Make sure you PCIE base clock is @ 100Mhz

BTW - Sin0822 had a great OC guide for Ivy on Gigabyte boards.

Not that I remember to do it....Most modern mb's have the ability to save screenshots to USB sticks from within the uEFI. Time saver wben updating. Guess also will come in handy when asking for help with settings.

Most of the time I just start over with a new uEFI version. z87 currently so uEFI is in its infancy state on my motherbord. Looks to get better with each update.
