gigabyte K8NF-9 support

Does the Gigabyte K8NF-9 support the Venice core right out of the box? Do I need a BIOS upgrade?

The latest official bios ('F4') updates the CPU microcode, which I suspect adds Venice and X2 compatibility.

Personally I'm waiting for the X2 to get reasonably priced, and I'm near certain they will work as well.

The latest version of the manual specifically says it supports the X2 processors, so I can't imagine a Venice core not working.

I agree, it should work. Thoguh I'd still try and get a certified answer before buying.
