Hello all
Just a note that the Ultra 9 F4 bios has a bug that affects ram speed.
After working with corsair technical(excellent service) and Gigabyte technical (poor service) it appears the problem is in the bios. Ram is Corsair TWINX1024 3200XL
F3 bios memory benchmark with everest 5900MB/S
F4 bios memory benchmark with everest 700MB/S
Games are major choppy but system appears to run fine otherwise.
Also if spread spectrum is disabled the CPU will automatically overclock to a base 211mhz. Bios shows 200 but bench shows 211 and cpu runs about 4 degrees hotter.
Hopefully F5 beta will be available soon.

I have a similar set up.. Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-9 with AMD 4400+, and I noticed games are slightly choppy. What did you use to get the memory benchmark?

Also, does your CPU show up with a strange symbol in system properties, and CPU-Z?

I just realised, that's what Everest is :p

I got a really low scores too :(

813 MB/s Read
560 MB/s Write
514.3ns Latency!!

I will email Gigabyte too, to put fractionally more pressure on them to fix it :p

I've updated to the new F7 BIOS, and now I get much better speeds :)

Read: 5188MB/s
Write: 1782MB/s
Latency: 60.2 ns

I've seen this happen on some X2's ;). It's the male symbol isn't it (an O with an arrow pointing 45 degrees).
