gigabyte included cables

2 questions that I searched for and found nothing.
.......

I received the normal cables with my Gigabyte GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3, but one cable is about 3" long with one end that looks like a usb type outlet, and the other end with a female end for pins, the end its about 3/4 of an inch, and does not fit into any receptacle on the MB pins..nothing in the manual

The other is a small cable too, that has a little speaker on it. what is it for?? I plugged it into the speaker part in the led output? hd pin area
but it does not do anything.
Thanks

On Newegg there's a picture that says it's an SLI bridge.
The little speaker is just that - a little speaker.
I beeps error codes and other things, it's not going to play your MP3's.

It is not an sli bridge, I saw that.. I am thinking it might be the trusted platform module..Maybe????

hmm... odd, is it possible to take a pic?
usually as Soundmanred the tpm is more of a chip, or possible some how during packing you got an incomplete cable?

Just to be clear, as noted above, the little speaker thingy plugs into the mobo (where the reset, power-on switch etc... plug in) and serves as a "case speaker" as newer cases do not have case speakers.
