Gigabyte I-RAM

Isn't it should be around $100US? I will pass for now and wait for price drop. $230 + $400(4x 1gb) for a 4GB HD is too expensive for my taste.

The access time. Instead of millisecond on a regular hdd now it's nanosecond! But at a cost of more than $200.00+, I doubt this item will soon become hot. Maybe when it's priced below $100.00 and the price of 1GB stick is down to less than $70.00, then it will become popular.

ewiz has it for sale now, $125. I wanted to use it for my Worldofwarcraft game, however the game's folder is 5gb and I don't think it will fit. bummer

What would the performance be on one of these if an OS was installed like WindowsXP or Windows Server 2003??

Lotta cash for such little DATA and although I'm hook be reading the reviews (also notice version is coming out) ...think for the same cash RAID with 4 Raptors could be had!
