Gigabyte + HVR 1600 Problems

I purchsed an HVR-1600 HFTV tuner this week in hopes to watch some HD shows OTA on my new dell 24". To my dismay last night I got the card and I go to install it, and my computer will not post. I get no beeps or errors, just won't display the post screen. I googled it and sure enough it happens to be my motherboard (Gigabyte K8N Pro-SLI) Seems like the series has problems with this card. Apparently someone has gotten a modified bios written for them by gigabyte (what service!) but I find it hard to believe they would keep doing that esp just for the small pool of customers that have this set up.

Now before anyone asks, I have tried more powerful powersupplies, diff video cards, removing ram, swtiching pci slots, removing all cards except video and tuner, and updating bios. Nothing seems to get this to post. I figured I would ask here if anyone has a solution or a modified bios they recieved that I could give a try. Any help is appreciated.

The original post of people with the same problem can be found here.
