Gigabyte hails you! WTF?! This now shows up on my bootup screen

When I boot up all of a sudden it says this. Sure I have a gigabyte mobo, but it doesn't say hit DEL to enter the bios.. it says Gigabyte Hails You! and has a stupid looking dog and cat picture.

Anyone ever see this and is my board screwed now or what? Thanks

Uh-o you have the latest Canine vs Feline virus that attack Gigabyte mainboards. j/k Hmm Did you try hitting DEL to enter the bios? And did you just get this mobo?

I can hit DEL to get into the bios.. but I wouldn't know that if I didn't know what it was already.

You ever see those PCs at work or store bought that don't really have that bios option, just some lame thing that shows at bootup? That's what it seems like.

And I've had this motherboard almost 9 months at least. A game locked up and after hitting reset I'm greeted with this strange thing.

I had the same thing happen with a pc I built at work. It freaked us out! We called Gigabyte and the tech support moron thought we made it up. After getting transfered to someone who actually knew something, he emailed us a new bios which we flashed and all is well now. Call them and don't give up until you talk to someone who has heard of it before.

If it's just a bios image, I'm not going to worry about it. I'm giving the PC to someone else anyway.

As long as it's not going to corrupt the bios or computer, it'll be cool with me.
