Gigabyte GTX 650 question.

of course it supports sli. going gtx560 sli is a bit silly though as its better to go with a faster single gpu.

I was looking for video cards for build a computer and i came across this. The amazon version of the Gigabyte GTX 650 says it has SLI support but the newegg one says it doesn't. Are they two different versions?

To be fair, that's not just a GTX 650, it's a GTX 650 Ti Boost, which is apparently a big enough performance difference to note the distinction. And yes, it will do SLI.

I thought the same, until I checked the SLI review. In an SLI setup, it's quite a beast. Eventually, though, that 2GB RAM will limit performance in future titles, and cards such as the 7970 3GB GHz edition will outperform it.

why SLi and deal with driver issues. I never recommend CFX or SLi unless you already have a card and want more performance for cheap but even than a single GPU would always be better.

If your thinking of going with 2 cards i suggest getting a HD 7950 and OC it
