Gigabyte GA7VA question

Ive got a question here can I use PQI 512 MB memory DDR 400 with my GA7VA motherboard from Gigabyte, Im not sure which revision it is but I dont think there are any significant differences between the.

And another one would it be possible to add another 512MB PQI DDR 400 later , In total there are 3 slots for memory

It should be in your manual, but the specs for Rev. 1 of your board say it supports your RAM. They call it DDR200, meaning it supports the 200 MHz bus x 2 = 400 MHz. 🙂

It will work, might end up @ DDR 333 speed though. What you coming from, or is this a new setup? I assume not...

Messing with switches may be required, i own a GA7VAX

well thanks for reply but actually you are wrong there ddr 200 is the underpowered ddr26, which is used rarely these days.In the manual it says tha u can use ddr400 but on the website it doesnt, what should i do???help!!

I already own 256 mb Crucail DDR 266 memory, and Athlon XP 2200xp oced to 2600+
