Hey guys, just got a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 mobo. I'm having an issue with my microsoft wireless keyboard 3000 and wireless mouse 5000 combo, it uses a microsoft USB 2.4Ghz transcever to connect to my PC. The range is horible now, I can only type/use the mouse if I have the keyboard less that a foot to the computer! I took the keyboard/mouse/receiver to my other computer, and it works great, I can type/move the mouse 10ft away! Once I put it back on this gigabyte setup the range goes back to 1 ft max, anything furter the mouse stutters/lags, and the keyboard barely works. I tried various rear USB ports and the same issue, only a few feet. However if i plug it into my case USB ports (which go to the header on the mobo) all the issues stop, and I get normal range again! Is there a bios setting I am missing, maybe some type of power management for the rear USB ports, or is my board bad. I tried plugging my external usb drive in the rear ports and it works fine.
