upon reading further reviews I really can't seem to make a decision.
I want to be able to upgrade in the future, but thats a long way away until DDR3 drops in price. Is it worth it to spend the extra $30 from the egg now? or save myself the money and the hassles and flaws of the combo board??

Get the P35-DS3R.

DDR3's gains are negligible. While they are amazing, they cost way too much. The P35-DS3R is about 40 dollars cheaper, so save yourself those bucks and put it towards your graphics card--something that you will notice give considerable gains in the performance of your computer.

Or if you're cool... I just read a post in which Anand's editor prefers the P35-DS3P.
