So, it seems that my Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R may be failing. I'm not able to get the system to boot consistently anymore.

Any suggestions on a moderate overclocking board with good stability? I'm currently running a Q6600 with 6GB of Ram.

I'm willing to go $100-$150 on a new board, but want to make sure that I get the best bang for my buck.

I see that the Asus P5Q boards get reviews, but there are several different models of those as well.

Any help is appreciated.

TIA

assuming that you were happy with your board before your current troubles, the GA-EP45-UD3R is a nice p45 evolution of your current board that falls in your price range (especially with the current rebate). I've been looking at the P5Q boards, too, but the nicer ones are just too pricey for me.

I've got it, i definitely like it a lot. However, there is this invisible wall at 441 mhz FSB, I just can't get it any higher than that no matter how much voltage I pump into it (dropped ram/cpu divider all the way down).

I'm guessing it can be fixed with a bios update considering most boards easily go 500+ on stock voltage.

Its a solid board, I'd get it again.
