Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L question

My board does not post when there's a PCI card in slot 1. Slot 2 & 3 are fine. I actually tried two boards, but they have the same problem. The card I'm using is AirLink101 wireless card. I havn't tried other PCI card yet.

Is there anybody who has the same issue? What may be the cause? Thanks a lot.
 
I had this board recently and didn't have that issue. It did however fail to maintain fsb and other settings on most reboots, but that's another story. If you try out another card and it doesn't work as well, it sounds defective.
 
SO use sots 2 or 3 - the problem is some HW conflict (the days of the old IRQ problem and swapping around solves). Slot 1 is usually blocked by the video card anyway.
I have a TV card in slot 2 and the Dlink 54g wireless can't remember the model now (so many of these wireless cards I have) in slot 3 and works OK with onboard sound.
