Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Network Issue

I have been using the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard with Realtek RTL6168B/8111B Family PCI-E gigabit ethernet NIC for quite some time. I am running on Vista 32. Just yesterday, I was connected to the internet and everything was great. I get back from work today and I couldn't connect to the internet. I diagnosed the problem, and it said that there was no networking hardware installed. I tried to reinstall the network card, but the computer would not recognize any new hardware as being installed. I went to the BIOS, disabled and re-enabled the card with no avail. I downloaded the realtek driver, installed it, and still nothing. Any ideas?

Is it the onboard lan? If not, look at the back of the card, is there any LED activity? I had a similar episode, but it turned out my card gave up the ghost.
