Anyone know if this heat sink will mount on the Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H motherboard? I read somewhere that to get it to fit I will need some types of a amd am2 bracket as Gigabyte bracket around the cpu is different ...I know I read it somewhere but cannot find it now. Thanks

You will need a mounting bracket from Thermalright to replace the AM2 retention bracket, regardless of motherboard manufacturer. The XP90 comes with a bracket that fits s939 boards that you use in place of the s939 bracket, but the AM2 bracket is different. Again, this is no matter what AM2/AM3 motherboard you have, not just for Gigabyte. Their AM2 brackets are pretty much the same as everyone else's.

I'm sitting here with an XP-90 that I bought way back when and I'm glad to hear it can adapt to a new build. It was last used on a 939 socket so all I need is a new 90mm fan and that kit country2 mentioned. I wonder where I can get it cheap? Usually I go to SVC for stuff like this.
