GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4

one of my friends is building another comp. His mobo of choice is the GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4. He has ram that is only DDR2 400 but the board supports DDR2 800. Will the slower ram work with the board? I would guess it would but would he have to do any tweaking to get it to work or will the board auto adjust itself to work with the slower ram, thx for any help anyone can give!

AFAIK, as long as its in the series of DDR2 (on which i know 400 exist @ DDR1). it'll work
