Hi, i have installed the hard drive and SATA controller (Sil 3114 RAID) drivers and windows even formats my hard drive, but i cant boot to it. According to Gigabyte MB manual I need to go to:
Advanced BIOS feautures->(SATA)/RAID/SCSO boot order:*SATA*

But under Advanced features there is no "(SATA)/RAID/SCSO boot order:*SATA*", only thing availabe is first second third boot option, and i choose that to Hard drive (doesnt show sata or anything), and windows doesnt boot up!
Thanks!

Try disabling the RAID Options, they were enabled by default on a build with a 4x board here a week or so ago. Remember, if you're using the SATA ports that aren't on teh Sil3114 windows sees those drives like it does IDE drives, there's no need for raid drivers or whatever. Try reading hte manual and plugging the drive into the right port first, then go play with your BIOS some more.

Yup, disable RAID. That's what I did and I plugged a SATA hard drive into the first port on the NVIDIA controller and had no problems.
