Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if this board is any good... I read through some of these reviews, and some people were having dual channel RAM problems for some reason. Have they fixed that yet in newer bios updates? Please post some of your experiences with this board.

Pretty cool. They've come out with 5 bioses so far, it seems like a stable board.
My main question was goign to be:

Where the hell is Gigabyte's QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for RAM? I'm planning on buying some Corsair low latency memory (CL2), and I hope it works with the board.

Hey, I have this board, love all the extras it has onboard....Haven't OC'd very far so far as, well, rather play with it than chase numbers, however running stock cooling, value RAM (TwimMos) DDR400 @ 230FSB 1:1 divider. One thing to note is I had to adjust HTT down to 4x, as I would get random lockups over 215FSB.
When I get tried of playing games or something, I may look seriously at what its got, however I believe the DFI or MSI Neo's are better clocking boards.

there ya go. Now the thing about stable memory is that the Athlon64 memory controller is a bit picky, and Gigabyte's board doesn't really address this issue as other manufacturers' boards seem to. So you need compatible memory, and by that I mean memory that is GUARANTEED to work (they say it's compatible with your board on their site). I believe crucial and kingston memory are compatible, Im not sure about what other brands.
