I just downloaded Bios version F2 from Gigabyte's website, though I am reluctant to flash it since my system is running decent right now and it is listed as "PVT only" and I don't know what this means. I could not find any release notes on the website about F2. Anyone know anything about this version or tried it yet?

My K8NF came with bios f2 installed. I have an issue with the ps2 keyboard not working properly. Other than that things work pretty well.

I tried it, but quickly went back to the F1 BIOS. I couldn't break 230MHz HTT with the F2 BIOS, whereas I can easily hit over 280MHz bus using the F1 BIOS.

There's an F3 BIOS available for download here, but it's not officially released yet.
I've not tested it personally, as I prefer to wait for an official release given I'm having no issues with the current release F1 BIOS.

Mine too shipped with F2, PVT is produc validation test - it has passed most hardwares tested with the board.

That is what the support person e-mailed to me as I was looking for an updated bios...

I CANNOT get this board to work with 2 PCI capture cards... I have a DVICO Fusion (HD) card, Hauppauge PVR-150MCE analog, and ATI Rage analog card, I have tested all 3 and I cnanot get any 2 to work in any slot combination, can someone test this to see if I just have a bad board? Here is my email to gigabyte...

I have windows MCE2005 with all updates. I have all updates from the gigabyte website (chipset/lan/audio etc). I cannot have 2 capture cards in the PCI slots at any time. I have all latest drivers and have put them in different slots. I have a DVICO Fusion HD card, and Hauppage PVR150MCE. I also tried both with an ATI rage card - I get a Blue screen/STOP message every time, usually cannot even boot into windows. I believe this is a conflict with the Nforce4 chipset, I have installed both of these in a biostar motherboard with an XP Barton chip with no issues.
Please let me know the status on this issue. Also, it seems the auto update site has never worked for me (http://download.gigabyte.com.tw/) Is there issues with this webpage?
Thanks for your help - I have technical contacts at DVICO - Hauppauge - and some gurus at htpcnews.com that have all been working with me on this issue if you need any additional information, let me know.
