Yes, the K8NF-9 is a very good board. I recently upgraded to a system similar to your intended setup, including the Gigabyte mboard. There were some teething problems when the board came out, such as it couldn't recognise a PS2 keyboard. However, I think all recent versions now ship with the F2 bios. This fixes up those minor niggling problems.

I am very happy with this board. Fast, cheap and reliable. Even good for overclocking, which you don't intend.

Are the others good?

The MSI and DFi boards are meant to be excellent, in both feature set and overclocking. I'm not entirely sure about the Asus. I haven't seen many reviews, and the Nforce4 boards are pretty much the best anyway. It all depends on your budget and needs - the K8NF-9 is significantly cheaper than the MSI and DFI boards. If you need SATAII, Active Armour, Ntune, etc, go for the MSI or DFI mobos.

Those are identical specs to the computer I'm about to buy... I've been hemming and hawing over whether to go GA-K8NF-9 or a DFI or abit board... I think I've pretty much decided on the gigabyte board since I'm not heavy overclocker. I hope the board I recieve has fixed the PS-2 keyboard problem though...
