I have a case with a front FireWire connector, so I connected the headings onto the motherboard. I went on and installed the Unibrain Firewire drivers, but reading the motherboard manual, it said you have to change the drivers to Microsoft's if you want to connect a camcorder or something.

I don't have a camcorder, but I use Firewire to connect my iPod. I kept the Unibrain drivers at first, connected my iPod, but the computer wouldn't detect the iPod. THe iPod would charge and all, but it just won't show on the computer. I checked the drivers, and everything was working. So I decided to change to the Microsoft's drivers like the manual said. Still, no luck. The iPod charges, but the computer doesn't detect the iPod.

I really think there are problem with the drivers, but when I check it, it says the device is working properly. Any ideas?
