Well, divide the advertised memory speed by 2 and that'll give you your top fsb multiplying speed. e.g. DDR2 800 = 400fsb without overclocking the RAM. So 400x an E8500 (9.5 multiplier) gives you 3800Mhz or 3.8Ghz. The E8500 may deliver 4.4Ghz IF YOU ARE LUCKY - watch for stock voltages.
