UD3P, Intel E8500, XFX HD4870.

I was wondering what the memory would be for this setup. Thanks in advanced.

Well, divide the advertised memory speed by 2 and that'll give you your top fsb multiplying speed. e.g. DDR2 800 = 400fsb without overclocking the RAM. So 400x an E8500 (9.5 multiplier) gives you 3800Mhz or 3.8Ghz. The E8500 may deliver 4.4Ghz IF YOU ARE LUCKY - watch for stock voltages. Don't go beyond 1.365vcore - above that and you are an intermediate overclocker. Reaching for the sky with elaborate cooling starting at h20 - consider yourself hardcore

Recomend some good cheap DDR2 1066. Its not much more than the good DDR2 800 stuff, so why not? With the high atainable FSB's of a dual core, it could be very useful.
