Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3p Mobo $100 AR SHIPPED!!!

(ATTENTION BUDGET OVERCLOCKERS)

Well Im not sure if this falls under hot deals but what the hell. Newegg.com is selling the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P for $119.99 with a $20 rebate and free shipping ($120-20=$100) . (They are also giving away a free 2Gb USb flash drive which isnt that great but hey its free and it will help when flashing the bios using Qflash(Free Gift is gone))

Rebate:http://images10.newegg.com/Upl...Nov01Nov3008lt12US.pdf
(valid from Nov 1 to Nov 30)

Cool Features: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Pro...oductName=GA-EP45-UD3P
(Some might be gimmicks...But quality is top priority on this mobo)

(FSB MONSTER!?)

Bios Preview:

(Enough voltage tweeks to damage your hardware? OH YEAH!!)

On a side note this is my second UD3P and these motherboards are very well built. Mb support is fairly good and since its introduction a new bios has found its way on gigabyte's website already expanding supported cpus. This particular board has fallen $17 within a week so I dunno if it will be going down further any time soon. The Ud3p is actually cheaper then the lesser GA-EP45-UD3R which is kinda odd but great for us. Thanks a lot for looking. My Regards Home Slice 🙂

EDIT:
Thanks to AnonymouseUser and OCnewbie applying the coupon code EMCBBBEBJ when checking out will bring you back to the $99 price mark.(No Longer Needed)

Title edited.

I just posted this on slickdeals a little bit ago, figured I'd come over here and share as well. I guess that won't be necessary =) Thanks for sharing it here too! =)

Edit - Apparently you can get this for around $91.50 after live cashback and after the $20 mail-in-rebate from an ebay seller. The seller is apparently the same company as www.mwave.com

Just do an ebay search for UD3P after activating the 25% live.com cashback, which is explained here - Link. Basically just go to www.live.com, enter "wii" as your search topic, and refresh the next page you get to a few times until you see the 25% off ebay clickable link. Best to read a little over the main post (post #2 or #3) in the linked thread though.

Yeah bro sharing is caring...Budget overclocking is what keeps me interested in computers. Any one can make a great $3k system what I enjoy is making a $1k system that would kick the others comps ass!

hmmm I might have to cancel my order...and reorder 😛

Now that I did some research on the q8200 I dunno if I like it. Ill hold off for now. Ive got a few cpus laying around that need some loving.

I have the GA-EP45-UD3R MB with a Q9550 running Vista 64 @ 3.6 GHz with 8G of DDR2 800 ram. Love this board.

nice i wanna push my q6600 further but its a crappy overclocker (1.325 VID)

Can get this back to $99 AR with a new coupon code EMCBBBEBJ. Your e-mail address has to be on Newegg's deal mailing list though, in case you aren't already.

what's the difference between the UD3 boards and the DS3 boards?

well if you have a couple boards in particular to compare you should shoot over to the gigabyte comparison site.

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Pro...et.aspx?ProductID=2921

one key difference is the UD3 means ultra durable 3 ( 2oz of copper and better quality components used)

better of googling it 😛

Ya, I was comparing at the Gigabyte website but I was wondering if there was something else I missed. I was specifically wondering how UD3 board compares to the same named DS3 board, so EP45-UD3 vs EP45-DS3, for example.

Major differences from what I saw

UD3 - DS3
1 PCIe x16 - 2 PCIe (1x16 or 2x8)
3 PCI - 2 PCI
8 SATA - 6 SATA
1 LAN - 2 LAN

The UD3P (the one referenced in this thread) has (2) PCIe x16 slots that run as 2x8 in crossfire mode. The UD3R does not.

Edit: Or maybe THIS will help.

Free 2GB USB thumb drive is back for now 🙂
Dam, when I jumped on it the other day for the $10 off code it wasn't available. Oh well, $10>flash stick.

Thanks OP!

Picked up this and an E8500, should team up well with my Mushkin Extreme Performance 1066

Hey. Great looks like a winning combo 🙂

Was wondering if some one might know will the downfall of Continental Promotions Group (rebatestatus.com) effect this boards rebate? Hopefully not.

Also as some of you might be recieving your boards now or might have recieved them already and started experimenting what sort of results have you achieved with the UD3P so far?

For me as of now since im waiting for better cooling (stock just wont cut it) im stable at:
Q6600 G0 (vid 1.325) 🙁
3.2Ghz (9x356)
vcore: 1.35v
Mchv: 1.2v
Cpu PLL: 1.57v
Cpu Term: 1.22v
Load line enabled

Any suggestions/comments on what should be done to take this to 3.4-3.6? I know my VID is crap but im sure im not the only one. My regards Home Slice
