I have read on Newegg that memory with CL4 will not work with this board because it incorrectly registers it as CL3. There are no BIOS updates for this that I can see for this problem.

Anyone have any first hand experience with this board that has had problems?

Sadly I ordered some CL4 ram and this board before I read this, so right now it is on its way but I won't beable to test it for awhile. 🙁 This will suck if I have to return the board or buy NEW ram to get this to work.

I use this Ram without problems

I mistakenly posted a link to some CL4 ram before i edited my post, so this post probably is not too useful. I need to post more often as I have certainly botched a few today.

I don't have this board (yet 🙂), but this issue does seem to be widely noted. If you contact your memory manufacturer and explain, they may be willing to take your memory on RMA and reprogram the SPD information to "safe" values. G.Skill is the only manufacturer I know for certain is doing this.

A BIOS change to fix the problem is hopefully forthcoming, but I guess we'll see.
