[GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3] - CPU compatibilities near upper end?

I'm toying with the idea of throwing something onto this board that is more powerful than my E6600 Core 2 Duo, but I'm having trouble determining EXACTLY what this board will and will not take. I will likely be buying a used CPU and I don't want to embarrass myself when I find out the chip isn't compatible.

Here's the Newegg product page, if that helps:

Thank you.

Thanks. I have to confirm my board revision #.

But doesn't seem to be a ton of official support past my E6600... maybe the chip is better than I think and it's not worth squeezing any more speed out of the board?
