Gigabyte GA-8SQ800, SIS655, does it overclock well?

Plan to get that board and a P4 C1 with some TwinMos to replace my aging KT3 rig (prolly donate this to younger bro and keep the Video card). Does the board overclock good compared to i845PE boards?

From all accounts, 169MHz is about tops for this board.

I'm running at 155MHz, but that's b/c of my CPU and not the board.
 
NFS, how far you get your ram to go on that board? DDR400? Or are you just running it synchronously?

My memory is running at DDR350. It's PC2700 memory so I'm not trying for DDR400 as of yet. This board has tons of memory ratios so no matter what FSB you're on, you should be able to find a memory speed to suit you.

Sandra scores show bandwidth scores of around 3,400 INT/3,300 FLOAT in this configuration for me.

Depends on if Sandra is taking a fat-ass lunch break or not. Some days Prime will run just fine, sometimes it will crap out. Like I said before, SCREW PRIME!. I'm stable in Sandra, all my games, MemTest, DIVX ripping and everything else.

I'm not going to let one test dictate to me what's stable or not. Hell, Prime once told me that everything was fine (on my old 4G4A system), then my system would lockup in BF1942. Yeah, reeeeeeeeeeeeeal reliable

Your 3d card could be unstable, your drivers can cause havoc, there are so many factors. Prime 95 is mainly a CPU test, and its a damn good one.
