Gigabyte GA-8KNXP and IC7-Max3

Just wanted to warn anyone that's thinking about getting a Gigabyte board for overclocking... Don't do it :p

I got a GA-8KNXP in about November last year, got a 2.8 Ghz P4 at about the same time.

I tried everything I could think of, but couldn't get the thing to go over 229 FSB (3.2 Ghz)

Just got a IC7-Max3 yesterday and the same processor with all the exact same components runs stable at 3.5 with no voltage changes at all...

I'll be cranking it up some more tonight, I'm gonna see how far my OCZ 4000 gold will take me on 1:1 timings :D
