Gigabyte GA-8IK1100 V1 and MBM 5

I lost the CD that came with my Gigabyte board so I am using MBM 5 to read the temps from my motherboard. However I don't think it's reading correctly. MBM routinely reports the cpu temps in the mid to high 60s while running two DC clients and in the mid to high 40s when it's not under any load at all. I also noticed that the Case probe always reads 25 degrees and has never ever budged. So does anyone use MBM 5 with their Gigabyte GA-8IK100 or even GA-8KNXP boards and getting high temps.
