I am considering purchasing this board, but there is one piece of information I cannot find. Perhaps someone who owns it can clear this up for me. Does it have a PCI/AGP clock lock at 33/66 Mhz? Also I would like to hear your experiences using this board, since from the specs it seems pretty nice, but how well does it work?

The GA-8IHXP does NOT lock pci/agp, as my last board (Abit TH7II) did for example.

The Utility, EasyTune4, that can be run with this board is a great OC utility, but does not fully support this board yet. It's supposed to eventually & would have that lock function.

Meanwhile, checkout other Gigabyte 8IHXP posts in this Forum, you'll get much info. It's turning out to be a very solid performer.

For those thinking about the rambus Gigabyte alternative, until something better arrives...
Here is info on my GA-8IHXP setup. Bios used is F4.

GA-8IHXP, 2.53@fsb150, 2X256MB Kingston 1066-32 rdram, set at 4X (1066 selected), AIR cool, Zalman6500B-CU, vcore1.7, agpV1.8, over-rimm enabled. Bios menu settings sufficient for now, until ET4 Final.
Leadtek GF4600-325/700, Nvidia-30.82-official drvs. Don't use EasyTune, it's not (supported) ready yet.
D3D-vsync off, High perf.; openGL-vsync off
Sys: 4 scsi hdds, dvd-rom, cd-rw.

This Gigabyte board is very stable & solid at fsb150, with this setup, but will OC up to fsb156. Apps & Games run no problems. Still waiting for the real 16bit Samsung 1066-32 rdram, which should improve matters. The setup has been running for several weeks, although GF4 card is not OCed at all times. About to add more cool to Leadtek-HS with small backside fan. Still testing some Bios settings for optimum.
