Gigabyte GA-8IEXP Questions

New to this forum so I'd like to say hello to everyone.

I'm considering switching from AMD to Intel and from all of the reviews I've read the Gigabyte GA-8IEXP seems to be the best board with all of the options.

On the AMD side I've seen problems with Gigabyte's boards (KT333 board in particular) sliding in quality. Is this the same with their Intel based boards?

Are there any forums dedicated to the Intel based Gigabyte boards that I could refer to?

Can the 845E chipset support PC2700 and allow me to overclock a 1.8A without possibly affecting my PCI devices?

Thanks for the input

Anyone using the GA-8IEXP?? It seems to be very well priced with all the options. Or should I wait for the new ASUS SIS 648 board to come out??

I'd appreciate any input

I have a GA-8IRXP (the board the 8IEXP replaced), and I can say that I love my board. Very stable, great features.

My friend has the 8IEXP, and he hasn't experienced any problems so far either.

And, I believe the answer to your memory question is Yes...and the second one is yes too.

My 8IEXP has no problems, other than it doesn't seem to like running RAM much above 333 MHz.
