Hey everyone!
I'm coming to you guys because you're the ultimate gurus of this hardware review stuff... :)

I want to purchase the Gigabyte GA-8I915P Duo Intel 915P FSB800 Dual DDR2/DDR board but I want to put a Pentium Dual Core 830 chip in it. is that ok? I know there are better boards but this one fits in my budget :p unless theres something better I didn't see within the same price range (about a 100 bucks)

this is the ram I want to put in it:
OCZ PC-4200 DDR2 Value Series 2GB (2X1024MB) Dual Channel Kit

I'm just double checking everything will work ok when I plug it all in.. you know.. like so nothing blows up or something because I got specifications that conflict :p

any help is greatly apreciated! thanks alot!

ah great! thank you SO much for pointing that out for me!

how about the Gigabyte GA-8I945P-G Socket 775 Intel 945P Dual-Core Ready Dual-Ch DDRII 667/533/400 1 x PCI Express x16 GB Lan

will that still work with this ram?:
OCZ PC-4200 DDR2 Value Series 2GB (2X1024MB) Dual Channel Kit

this is oh so very helpful, thank you!
