I have a Gigabyte GA-81EXP and an Antec True550 Power Supply.

The PS has a 3-pin fan sensor that I'm supposed to connect to the mobo.

The mobo has 2 possible places where this can go and I'll quote the manual.

"if your computer chassis includes a system fan, and/or sensor cable from your power supply. Please connect to the SYS_FAN and/or POWER_FAN connectors."

My PS is powering 6 case fans.

So, which is it? I don't seem to notice a difference in either spot.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks for the answer.

So far, I love it.

I just got it on Thursday and it's run rock solid with a P4 2.53 and a gig of ram. I'm still stress testing everything but plan on OCing it a bit.

The EasyTune software makes that part a snap!

You don't really need to connect the RPM sensor from the PSU if you don't want to. I usually do a nice spiral-twist by hand, then tuck them away behind the PSU and use the fan headers to power case fans instead.
