I needed a new motherboard, and through a total miscommunication ordering I will now have both of these boards in my posession. One will have to get installed and one will have to get sold, anyone have opinions as to what board you would keep and why?
thanks,
Daniel

I own a Soltek DRV5 board and I swear by it. Not only does it run rock solid, but it saved a CPU that I bought with it. The CPU was an XP1800+ in a retail box and the fan on it was faulty so when I installed it all and fired it up, the fan didnt start. If my board didnt have the ABS thing on it, my CPU would be toast. Therefore I can give a big thumbs up to Soltek.

I can't say anything about the Gigabyte board as I've never really used one. But they do have a great reputation of producing good quality boards.

I'd go with whichever board has the features you require on it, and suits your needs best.
Hope this helps :)
