Just bought Gigabyte GA-7VRX mobo and have this problem when trying to turn the computer on,
I have to hold in the power button for about 5-10secs, let go and press it back in and the computer
comes on, it works fine once on. Anyone else having similar problems with their mobo? I tried switching
power and reset leads and use the reset button as the power on button but this had the same result,
also tried shorting the power on jumper with a screwdriver, that also failed to power on PC. Checked
the BIOS settings but came up with nothing. I'm fresh out of ideas.
System specs.
AMD XP1900+
Gigabyte GA-7VRX
256MB Crucial DDR
40GB Seagate Barracuda IV
80GB Seagate Barracuda IV
ATI Radeon 8500LE 64MB
