Gigabyte GA-7VAXP.. unlocks multiplier?

Anyone know if this KT400 board can unlock multipliers on chips like the 2400+? I'm assuming no but I just wanted some confirmation. If not, I was going to get a 9500np instead. $166 CND for the 2400+ and $245 for the 9500
