Gigabyte GA-7VA USB Problem

I have just purchased a GA-7VA and put it in my system last night. I installed WINXP and the latest Via 4 in 1 driver pack as well as the USB patch driver and the USB 2.0 straight after.

However, everytime I try to install a usb device (on any of the ports) i get a BSOD and it reports an error with usbhub.sys. I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling the USB drivers but had no success. Strange thing is, my Microsoft Blue USB mouse still works

I have had all the same devices installed and working with my old mainboard (ASUS A7V133). Which also had WINXP installed.

Has anyone had / or know of this problem ?

I have the latest (F9) BIOS patch and drivers as far as i know

other hardware internal hardware consists of

Palitdaytona GeForce 4 Ti4200 8x 128MB DDR
Leadtek Winfast TV2000deluxe TVtuner card
Sb Live
Generic 10/100 NIC (Realtek)

The patch driver was on the driver disk that came with the motherboard.

It had 3 drivers

1. Via 4 in 1 Service Pack
2. USB Patch Driver
3. USB 2.0 driver

Im not actually to sure what the patch driver does, but it didnt seem to help the situation
