Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 questions

i just bought this board at short notice(i thought my mainboard was blown but it was a false alarm) so now i'm gonna assemble a new pc.i'm looking for good performance within a budget.what's a good combination of cpu,ram and graphics for this board.i already have an xp2600 chip and a ide100 hard drive -if i use these will they slow things down much?
