Hey Everyone,

My friend came over today and we have the computer pretty much set up. Went for the power on:

The Problem: No Video.
Everything else seems normal.

Things to note:

-I am using a monitor which I can verify works (in fact I'm typing on it now... using the same monitor for both computers until I get the new one running)

-I am using the VisionTek GeForce3 -- I read before that someone was having trouble getting video with it but solved the problem by using a old 4mb PCI vid card to boot/install windows -- then GF3 worked fine.... I tried the same thing with my old 8mb AGP card which I am using on this computer -- again no go.

-The beeps I get from the little system speaker sounds something like:

BEEP (pause) BEEP BEEP

(pause)(pause)(pause)

BEEP (pause) BEEP BEEP

I found out from this link: http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/beep/award.htm
that the beeps mean that there is indeed a video error (well duh).

Current parts installed:

Gigabyte GA-7DXR Motherboard
AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4GHz 266MHz Bus
2 x 256MB DDR PC2100
ThermalRight SK-6 w/ Delta Fan
Arctic Silver II
2 x IBM 60GB 7200RPM Deskstar 60GXP
VISIONTEK Geforce3
Plextor 16x10x40 CDRW PlexWriter Internal EIDE CDRW
Hercules Game Theater XP
Lian-Li aluminum PC60+USB
ENERMAX EG465P-VE 431W Power supply
Creative Lab 52X max Internal IDE CD-ROM Drive
Teac 1.44MB 3.5 Inch Floppy Drive

As I said before... everything else seems normal w/ fans, hds spinning up.

Thanks in advance for all help offered.
