I had some difficulty with the Vista SP2 and as a result had to reformat. Im going through the windows prompts to install Vista (64-bit) and i can select the Intel RAID drivers, but then windows barfs and either tells me that it cant install the drivers or that they are unsigned and they wont install unsigned 64-bit drivers. What the...? I was doing a RAID5 before and dont know that i did, but windows found the drive and install was not a problem. Im now doing RAID0 and windows wont let me install the damn drivers. Any idea what is going on here?
Edit: Ok, this is infuriating. Windows tells me that the device (Intel RAID controller) can not be installed (no reason) and to contact the manufacturer for updated drivers. I just downloaded the newest of the new from Intel, burned them to a disc, and windows tells me that i need updated drivers. WTF? Is this a Vista problem? If so, maybe this can be moved over there...
